WHEN SHOULD I BOOK A BRIDAL BOUDOIR SESSION?

BEFORE the wedding - many brides-to-be will book a boudoir session many months before the wedding with the idea of creating an album or portrait for her spouse. A really good idea is to book this session on the same day as your Hair and Makeup trial! You will be all done up and feeling your best so why not!?

ON THE WEDDING DAY - talk to your wedding photographer about a day-off mini boudoir session! This can take place wherever you are getting ready, in 20 minutes or less. Find a private space (preferably with good lighting or window) and kick everyone out of the room before you decide to get your dress/outfit on. This is quick and intimate and BONUS - you get a few minutes to breathe and enjoy just being alone. Which rarely happens on a wedding day!

AFTER your wedding day - Perhaps you did not think of doing this before the wedding and that is okay. Hire a photographer, grab your bridal lingerie (or buy new!) and do it now! This makes a wonderful gift to yourself or spouse for an anniversary! Hey, why not even include your new spouse in a few images too?
