FOTINI - In her Element | The Story of a Woman
I had a wonderful experience working with Bobbi-Jo for a unique “in her element” experience where these two incredibly talented photographers joined their camera forces and helped me shine “in my element”! We have recently moved and this special experience truly made me feel at home here in our new space! The connection and creativity shows in every photo I received! What a gift this was! Thank you from my whole heart for capturing these moments of me in my element at our ‘home sweet home’

Life after 40 and an Unofficial Announcement | Alliston Ontario Photographer
For the first time since my twenties - easier to get in front of a camera!
I am still uncomfortable, still nervous, and still do not LOVE all the photos afterward - but for once, I LOVE most of them. And I have fun taking them!
Now I want YOU to feel the same! It has become my mission to get more women over 40 in front of MY camera! To feel liberated and empowered. To feel BEAUTIFUL. To have an experience like no other - getting pampered with hair and makeup and then to leave my studio and want to come back for more photos! And of course, to tell all your friends!
Should I take on clients outside of my Niche?
You have spent hours figuring out who your ideal client is.
The worksheets, the online courses.
“Who do I want to serve and how do I find them?” is the question haunting your dreams, am I right?
And you finally have it all figured out, right down to the clothing your dream client wears, what music they love and where they shop.
But then…you get an inquiry from someone who does not check all the boxes in your niche. What do you do?
Keep on Creating, Creator!
Appreciating the past so you can move into the future of your business
It’s that time of year when we usually set new goals and visions for the year ahead. But with most of us having to shift our business, or sadly, even close our businesses in 2020, that could be very hard to do.
but let me show you why it is still super important to look ahead with an heart in order to align your business for the next year.
2021 Year in Photos - Week One of 52
Bradford Barn Autumn Wedding | Devon and Bryan
Devon and Bryan are sweet, outdoorsy, and very kind and loving. The first time we met was at their country home for tea :) And we had a great time exploring the outdoors during their engagement session
Take a peek at their wedding at the Bradford Barn and leave a comment if you wish!
High Park Autumn Engagement Session | Emily and Mike
Mono Cliffs Conservation Engagement Session | Kimber and Jesse
I met Kimber and Jesse on a beautiful fall morning for their engagement photos. We explored the Mono Cliffs, a gorgeous hiking trail in Mono, Ontario, with hills, caves, lakes and more. Its a huge hike, you could stay there all day! One tip - go early, it gets really busy with all the people driving up from the city!
Liberty Village Toronto Engagement Session | Alex and Roham
If you live in the city, you may be surprised how unique and creative of an engagement shoot you can have, simply by walking around your neighbourhood :)
I love meeting couples at their home and just walking. The city has so many colours and textures and funky alleys and buildings to shoot near. It is always a blast! And I get to know the couple a little more as they allow me to enter their daily life space.
So fun! Check out this recent engagement session in Liberty Village area of Toronto
Hockley Valley Autumn Wedding | Melissa and James
Kensington Market Fall Family Photo Shoot | Kensington Market Toronto
Want to know the BEST thing about being a photographer?
When past clients come back to you, year after year.
Especially those who you photographed VERY early in your career, and who still trust and love you even if those early images were not the best! Ha! Yes…I have some old embarrassing “work”, if you can call it that.
Drysdale Tree Farm Autumn Wedding | Lindsay and Kyle
You never know what kind of weather you are going to get in the fall, it can be a gamble. But when you have such a cool venue as Drysdale Farm in Alliston, ON (otherwise known as the Christmas tree farm!), it really does not matter the weather. Plus the indoor location is a huge greenhouse with a white ceiling, which is a Photographer’s dream! We love white ceilings to bounce our flash and lights, and create a natural light source indoors. (just a tip if you are venue searching!)
